Celebrating the People Behind Essential Services
A uniform is much more than the clothes someone wears to work. It represents the people who keep communities running every day, often carrying out essential roles that make a real difference to our lives.
That's why we were proud to see two of our customers, Royal Mail and Waitrose, featured in Vogue magazine's cover story celebrating the people behind essential services.
Postal worker Karrie Scott from Royal Mail and supermarket assistant Anisa Omar from Waitrose proudly wore their uniforms as part of the feature, helping shine a spotlight on the dedication, resilience and commitment shown by frontline colleagues across the UK.
Reflecting on the feature, Hayley Brooks, Managing Director at Dimensions, said:
"We were incredibly proud to see our uniforms featured on the cover of Vogue, but even more importantly, we were proud to see the remarkable people wearing them recognised for the difference they make every day. I'd also like to thank our own colleagues, particularly our Logistics Centre team, whose dedication ensured essential uniforms and PPE continued to reach customers when they were needed most."
Throughout this period, we continued supporting organisations providing vital services, including helping supply uniforms for Tesco's NHS Nightingale Hospital convenience stores and providing more than 15,000 T-shirts to support NHS Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Volunteer Programme.
Supporting communities also remained an important part of our approach. Through our CSR programme, we donated garments and hand sanitiser to charitable initiatives, while our team in Bangladesh provided food packages to families connected with the Glory Friendship Social Welfare Organisation, helping support children and communities in need.
At Dimensions, we're proud to work with organisations whose colleagues make such an important contribution every day. Whether they're serving customers, delivering mail, supporting healthcare or keeping essential services running, it's a privilege to help provide the uniforms they wear with pride.
