Transparency in our
Supply Chain

Our approach focusses on prevention, not cure - it’s about ensuring responsible practices are embedded, monitored and always moving forward. That’s why we independently audit all of our strategic manufacturing partners to SMETA 4-Pillar standards. This covers labour standards, health and safety, environmental performance and business ethics.

ETI logo

Member since

2007

We proudly support the ETI's vision of responsible business and decent working conditions for all. The ETI Base Code sets the standards we expect across our Supply Chain. Used as our benchmark for audits, alongside local legislation, ensuring ethical practices are not just encouraged, but embedded in everything we do.

Human Rights
Due Diligence

Human Rights Due Diligence is guided by clear KPIs to make sure any risks to workers in the supply chain are spotted and acted on. Actions are regularly reviewed and shared, helping everyone feel confident in responsible practices.

Our group Human Rights Statement is updated each year.

Health and safety

Practical training from the Ethical Compliance team helps factory partners tackle common health and safety issues. Audit results are monitored to track improvements and keep workplaces safer.

Modern slavery

Results from the Modern Slavery Questionnaire, reviewed in collaboration with the Slave Free Alliance, helps highlight risks and next steps. Factory visits have also identified new country-specific risks to address.

Discrimination

Ongoing research into discrimination risks helps strengthen our wider Human Rights Due Diligence work.

AndWider Logo

Working with &Wider gives clear visibility of working conditions across our supply chain.
Feedback from the Worker Voice project helps highlight training opportunities and supports the ongoing development of our Human Rights Due Diligence strategy.

In partnership with &Wider, workers at five of our key factories shared their thoughts on working conditions and what matters most to them.
All five factories scored GREEN, giving reassurance that the people making the garments are valued and looked after.

  • SEAQUAL

    Seaqual logo

As a SEAQUAL licensee we're part of a global community tackling plastic pollution. Upcycled marine plastic is transformed into fully traceable, sustainable garments.

  • Recycled polyester

    recycling

Shredded surplus cotton is blended with polyester made from recycled PET bottles, then knitted into eco-friendly piqué fabric for garments. The process is fully traceable and designed for high energy efficiency.

Circularity

We put the circularity of our garments at the heart of our design process.
Using the principles of our 5R’s, reduce, reuse, recycle, remove and research, longevity and circularity are an integrated part of our design process.

Circular
Bi Design strategy

Our Circular Bi Design strategy gives customers choices for what happens to garments at the end of their life. Working with a local upcycling partner, we turn old garments into new items. This includes office tables, beehouses and our Uniform Hero awards, using 75% recycled fabric and 25% plant-based resin. We’re always exploring new ways to recycle, repurpose, and give garments a second life.
