In 2026 Dimensions parent company Mi Hub welcomed Sullivan Street Partners as new investors, marking an exciting new chapter for the business.

2026

In 2023, Dimensions received two awards: the Heathrow Supplier Awards Behaviours Award and the NAUMD Image of the Year Award in the Retail – Grocery Stores category for Tesco.

We also began new partnerships with St John Ambulance and Transport for Greater Manchester.

2023

Dimensions was awarded the PCIAW Awards 2022 Best Managed Major Contract for Tesco, recognising the strength of its partnership management and delivery performance across the contract.

2022

In 2020, Dimensions was named one of the Top 100 businesses in the East Midlands, recognising its continued growth and contribution to the regional economy.

We also received the ‘Individual Contribution’ award at the McDonald’s UK and Ireland Supply Chain Team conference, highlighting the impact of its team within the wider supply chain partnership.

2020

In 2019, Dimensions was named a finalist for two Engage Awards: Best Use of Training and Best Use of Voice of the Employee, recognising its focus on colleague development and engagement.

Dimensions completed a management buyout (MBO) with the backing of LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, resulting in the formation of Mi Hub Limited. Mi Hub is the parent company of Dimensions, which operates as part of the wider Mi Hub family of brands.

2019

In 2018, Dimensions received the McDonald’s Global People Supplier Award at the Worldwide Conference, recognising the strength of its partnership and service delivery.

Head of Group IT Richard Conti was recognised by the Digital Technology Leaders and awarded Product Manager of the Year for his work on the bespoke online ordering system, Detail.

Dimensions was also named a finalist in the UK National Contact Centre Awards and received the NAUMD Image of the Year Award in the Restaurants with multiple locations category for McDonald’s uniform. In addition, Dimensions achieved Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, strengthening its commitment to information security.

2018

In 2017, Dimensions became a Platinum Sponsor for the UK Corporate Games, supporting one of the UK’s largest multi-sport employee events.

We were also nominated for Virgin’s “Red Hot” Awards, finishing in the final three and recognising its innovative approach and workplace culture.

2017

In 2016, Dimensions received four awards, reflecting a strong year of recognition across key customer partnerships and industry performance.

  • Finalist in the National Contact Centre Awards, highlighting the strength of its customer service operations. 

  • Tesco Account Manager of the Year award and the ASDA Account Manager of the Year award, recognising excellence in account management across major retail partners. 

  • Highly Commended recognition at The Professional Clothing Awards.

2016

In 2015, Dimensions received the Outstanding Contribution Award from McDonald’s, recognising the strength and impact of its long-standing partnership.

We were highly commended in the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards for both the Sustainability/Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year and the Procurement Innovation or Initiative of the Year (GO Awards Scotland).

Dimensions also received the Portwest Distributor Bronze Award 2015/2016, acknowledging its excellent product knowledge and customer service.

2015

In 2014, Dimensions once again received the Tesco Value Award, recognising continued strong performance on the Tesco uniform contract and the consistent delivery of value and service.

We were also Highly Commended at The Professional Clothing Awards in the Bespoke Uniform for Workwear category, highlighting its capability in delivering tailored uniform solutions.

2014

Dimensions received the Tesco Value Award, recognising strong performance on the Tesco uniform contract. The award acknowledged the delivery of value, consistent service, and effective programme execution across the partnership.

2013

We won three awards at The Professional Clothing Awards this year, recognising excellence across sustainability, account management, and leadership. The awards highlight both the strength of our customer partnerships and our broader commitment to responsible business practice.

2012

In August 2010, Dimensions was acquired by the US$2.3 billion American organisation The Men’s Wearhouse.

We also received second prize for PPE at The Business Manager Awards 2010.

2010

Dimensions won Business Manager of the Year at The Business Manager Awards 2009.

2009

Dimensions continued to grow strongly and sales reached £90.6 million in 2008.

2008

The management team reacquired the business, bringing it back under independent leadership.

2007

Dimensions was reacquired by Johnson Service Group Plc.

2004

In December 2000, Dimensions completed a management buyout from its then owner, Johnson Service Group Plc.

2000

Dimensions relocated to the Midlands, establishing a new operational base to support its continued growth and development.

1993

The Dimensions brand was established, marking the beginning of its journey as a dedicated provider of bespoke uniform solutions.

1988

The business was acquired by UK cleaning company Sketchley, marking an early stage in its corporate development and ownership history.

1980's

The business originated as a small, London-based supplier of uniforms to the hotel industry, laying the foundations for what would become Dimensions today.
