Dimensions helps Ronald McDonald House Bristol raise over £26,000!
Posted on 10 August, 2017
Last month we wrote an article on Dimensions’ involvement with the Ronald McDonald House Bristol for their annual fundraising Golf Day and Dinner. The charity works tirelessly to provide free of charge accommodation and support in their 21 bedroomed house, to families of critically ill children receiving care at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. The house on average costs £270,000 a year to keep running, and Dimensions were only too happy to help with the fundraising.
To help the golfers play their best, Dimensions supplied all the golfers taking part with a state of the art golfing shirt and cap. As the shirts were different styles, Account Manager Andy Lewis organised a lucky dip for them – which turned into an additional fundraising opportunity as the golfers who wanted to swap their shirts had to donate £5 to have the shirt of their choice!
The event took place at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport and although the weather wasn’t on the golfers’ sides, it didn’t dampen their spirits and the golfers took their drenching in good humour.
Anna Palmer from Ronald McDonald House Bristol said:
“I would like to say that Andy (as always) was a total star and the polo shirts supplied by Dimensions were awesome. My partner who attended our golf day proudly wore his shirt the following week on his golf tour so I am sure all of the golfers will continue to get good use out of them. A huge thank you to Andy, to Dimensions and also to Polygiene and Productzone for your amazing support.”
