Supporting Greggs Foundation Breakfast Clubs Together

We've been proud to work with Greggs since 2014, and supporting the Greggs Foundation Breakfast Club Programme is an important part of that partnership.

The programme helps provide children across the UK with access to a free, nutritious breakfast before the school day begins, giving them the best possible start to learning. It's a fantastic initiative that makes a real difference to thousands of families and communities.

To help support the programme, members of our team recently joined the Greggs Foundation on its Step Back in Time charity walk, raising funds for Breakfast Clubs across the UK.

Guided by North East Guides, the walk covered just over 10 miles through the beautiful landscapes of Northumberland National Park. Along the route, participants passed historic hill forts, ancient settlements and a medieval village, making it a memorable day despite the challenging weather.

Lynne Hindmarch, Greggs Foundation Breakfast Club Manager, said:

"At times it felt like monsoon season had descended upon us, but the joy and laughter that was apparent throughout the day got us all through – that and a Greggs treat!"

For us, taking part wasn't just about completing the walk. It was about supporting a cause that has a meaningful impact on children and communities.

Ian McGinty, Commercial Director at Dimensions, said:

"It was great to get involved with the Step Back in Time walk. Thanks to the donations received, the Greggs Foundation Breakfast Club Programme can continue providing free breakfasts to more than 57,000 children every school day."

We're proud to support initiatives that help create positive change and look forward to continuing our partnership with Greggs and the Greggs Foundation in the years ahead.
